The Essence of Self Realization

I never really understood the concept or importance of realizing one's self until recently. And inasmuch as we have it all figured out, this particular experience left me with more lessons than I would have thought possible or important even. And since I have decided to share a part of my journey with you, here's a couple of lessons that I think might come in handy.

1. The power of purpose: A person who has purpose in their life, has something to live for and that pulls you to the future that you desire. On earth today, so many people are influenced by the past while some are simply carried away by all kinds of distractions. To achieve your purpose, always have a careful and a critical  analysis of your actions in line of your Vision, dream and goals in order to put your spirit, mind, heart and soul entirely to your pursuit. 
2. The power of asking: If you don't ask you don't get. In life, anytime you fail to ask questions about, you remain a victim of ignorance in that sphere. If you want to know how to get what you want in life, you have to ask and put in the work for it. Tips for asking-: (a) Ask with confidence and certainty, refuse to take NO as an answer and have zero acceptance to the concept of impossibility as it will help in life (b) Ask with determination and persistence, view every rejection as a push, getting you one step closer to your pursuit.
3. The power of Commitment: In life until one is committed there is sometimes, hesitance. Commitment is an essential step to achieving your dreams, desire, vision and goal. It is the act of Commitment that will show whether you will love to live the dream or not. Because without commitment it is very easy to loose sight of Vision, with commitment obstacles becomes opportunity, with commitment you easily move from "I can do these" to "I am doing this", with commitment failure is not an option, with commitment mountains are moved quietly. Commit to your own dream today and see it done.
4. The power of enthusiasm: As you have begun this great journey to self realization, never seize being excited. Not just excited but be excited about your dream knowing fully well that you are coming to an expected end. Remember this, always choose your heart over your head when pursuing your Vision. 
5. The power of Excellent Result: Do the best you can to achieve extraordinary performance for yourself in the pursuit of your purpose, goal and dream. Result is what proves that you are doing something right or that you have done something right or wrong. Remember, if you wish to live an extra ordinary life, you must go the extra ordinary mile.

I hope that these few nuggets make a difference.
